Creative play area - Located at the south end of the picnic area, opposite the swimming pond, the play area includes equipment for climbing, sliding and swinging for a wide range of age groups, with an adjacent separate area for pre-schoolers.

The largest of Three Rivers Park District's play areas, there are two acres of wood and rope mazes leading to spiral slides, suspension bridges, underground tunnels and two cable rides.

This structure includes tube slides, flat slides and spiral slides ranging from 10' to 50' long as well as platform and hexagonal climbers for hours of enjoyment. A smaller play area with sliding, swinging and climbing equipment for children under age 5, as well as for those with handicaps is located in the same area.

The newest Three Rivers Park District's play area features a nautical theme. The 20,000 square-foot multi-level play area includes a cargo hold, climbing nets and structures, numerous slides and two 20-foot slide rides. It is accessible to children of all ages and abilities.

Armatage Park The park has a fabulous playground with swings of every type to aumuse and delight both young and old. Challenge the climbing wall and ride the slides. Whatever the season you will have fun.

The "Peak" is a 44-by-44-by-37 foot high climbing, low crawling, slip sliding Northwoods adventure. Climb into the 30-foot tall oak tree, slide down one of the four giant tube slides or wash down the triple wave slide. Glide across the canyon glide or swing above the swamp. When you venture to the 30-foot lookout, you will find telescopes to spy around the park. Adventure Peak also features great areas for toddlers to explore. The Tot Area includes climbing, crawling, sliding and even bouncing in an inflatable air bounce geared just for them! The entire padded, netted and enclosed structure has more than 40 events to keep kids challenged and entertained for hours.

Central Park (Woodbury), located at 8595 Central Park Place, is a multi-use, year round facility consisting of about 20,000 square feet. It includes:

A large play area, Lookout Ridge, open to children of all ages for a small admission fee. An amphitheater with seating for about 200
Activity/meeting rooms for a variety of programs Landscaped areas for walking or relaxing A coffee shop, “Cups 'N' Scoops,” that the city is leasing to a private operator. Program space for the Early Childhood Family Education Program. The park design is meant to suggest the St. Croix River Valley, and features:

Brookdale Center's Forest Adventures
Forest Adventures, located in Marshall Field’s court, is designed for kids under 42" tall.

Forest Adventures has a north woods theme which features a crawl-through tent and log, a frog, a ladybug, a happy tree stump, and a tree house with two slides that also has a crawl-through trunk.

Eagan Community Center - The Blast
Propulsion Launchers, flying the Intergalactic Space Fight Jet, exploring the Milky Way tunnel to performing daring space walks over suspension bridges and sliding down the gigantic Wormhole Slide Portal!

Kids can let their imaginations run wild on this unique playground searching for UFO’s, discovering planets, exploring the time travel bridges and forging their Space Buggies over the moon’s surface. The room is painted like a gigantic galaxy, adding to this one-of-a-kind play odyssey. Kids can burn energy and get exercise while pretending to be astronauts on their very own International Space Station. Children will want to explore The Blast with lightning speed!

It's located on the lower level near Kohl's and has a Minnesota living theme. Children 42" or smaller are free to jump and play on soft foam Minnesota-style figures such as a snowmobile, hills, canoe, jet ski, tent and much more!

"Lookout Ridge" Indoor Playground - Woodbury
A themed, life-like design and sound effects accompany slides, forests, a tree house, and even a cave. Kids are able to climb inside cliffs imitating the St. Croix River Valley, then zoom down a mountain spiral slide emerging from a cave. Children also can venture to the top of the tree house, cross over to the gigantic fallen tree, and race down a 30-foot superslide! For a more challenging adventure, kids can explore the tree foam forest and cross through the tube jam.

Designed for kids under age 12, there are four climbing levels, several slides, a ceiling height playhouse, and a big ball pit.

There is a separate play area for the little ones, ages three and under. This area has a small ball pit and soft play toys.

Admission is $4 for non-residents, $3 for residents. Children under age one and adults/guardians are admitted free. Check the website for hours as they vary by season.

New Brighton Eagles Nest
Designed for kids under age 12 to climb, jump, run, and play the day away. There is a separate play area for the little ones, ages three and under. This area has a small ball pit and soft play toys.

Pump It Up    
Designed for ages 2 to adult, Pump It Up has an indoor arena full of giant, soft, fun-filled  inflatables to bounce, slide, climb and jump on.  The indoor inflatables include a custom inflatable bounce house, inflatable slide, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable boxing arena, inflatable jousting arena, and many other designs of interactive inflatables.  Check the Eden Prairie and Oakdale websites for details about Pop-In Playtime days and time.

A soft play area called Tiny Town opened in September 2004. Tiny Town, located on the lower level in Sears Lane, is designed for kids under 42” tall.

Some of the soft play structures include a faux stone bridge, parking ramp slide, building tunnel, truck, and a very cool red sports car.

Rosedale Center's Northwoods Play Area
The Northwoods Play area, located in Herberger's Court. Some of the play structures include a tree with slides and a crawl-through trunk, a big tent to crawl through, a lady bug, a hollow log, and more!

It has bigger, taller structures than play areas at other Twin Cities malls but the overall area is a bit smaller. Great for climbers.

Overview: The Big Splash is a medium-sized indoor water park. It doesn't have a "marquee" attraction like a water coaster or a bowl ride, but does offer a good assortment of slides and activities. Most indoor parks connected to a hotel are open only to registered guests, but The Big Splash is open to the public. The Arrowwood Resort offers a number of room types, including suites and apartments. Other features include an arcade, golf course, marina, horseback riding, and snowmobile

WAVE POOL
The air-generated waves are made with eight pattern variations that range from zero to four feet in height.  Waves are generated every five seconds, for 15 minutes, with a 10 minute rest period. The average pool temperature is 73 degrees.

ADVENTURE POOL
This zero depth entry pool has a maximum depth of two feet and is a great place for children of all ages.  It features a large play structure that sprays, pours and shoots water in all directions.  The interactive features let kids play and interact the water using valves, levers, handles and a water gun.  It has three slides that send kids splashing into the water.
 
WATERSLIDES
The waterslide tower has two waterslides that wind, twist and turn you down into the plunge pool.  There is one open waterslide and one enclosed slide for the thrill of not knowing what comes next.  Guest must be at least 48" tall to ride the waterslides.
 
SAND PLAY
The sand play area consists of a large sand area that contains play equipment, and sand tables with running water.  Kids can build sand castles, make rivers or just play in the sand.

Minneapolis' newest water park features three large water slides, including a tube slide. Additional features include a log water walk, many interactive spray features, water volleyball, lap swimming lanes, and zero depth entry at one end for accessibility. The park theme is a rock quarry and featured items are designed to look like a quarry by incorporating stone, foam play quarry equipment and foam logs. There is also a new separate spray pool for the younger kids that is completely accessible as well as new colorful shade structures, outside shower towers, concessions, lots of seating, a grassy sun-bathing area and outside lockers. Covered shelters are available for reservation, conpletely accessible and feature seating for 15 people.
