- Can you hear those birds singing? Summer is upon us! Whether you
are heading off to the beach, barbecuing with family and friends
or just playing a round of golf tis the season to enjoy the
outdoors. Running out the door and dropping off the kids at camp?
Heading to the park for some baseball? Not so fast!
As
the days get longer, that means more exposure to the suns
harmful UVA/UVB rays that contribute to sunburn, premature aging
and skin cancer. Those rays are even stronger during the summer
season, so sun protection is more important.
Before
heading to the pool or the park, remember to protect yourself and
your family from the harmful (and often painful) effects of the
sun. One new product in particular is revolutionizing sun protection
this season:
Coppertone
Continuous Spray Sunscreen.
This
new sunscreen is one of the most important breakthroughs in sun
protection during the last 50 years. Now, children and adults can
get quick and even coverage at just a touch of a button. The compressed
air technology makes applying sunscreen, quicker and easier, even
on children. This allows you and the kids to spend less time inside,
preparing for the outdoors. The exclusive twist-lock cap eliminates
lost lids and sloppy spills. You can throw it in your tote bag and
easily reapply during tennis matches, or after the kids emerge from
the pool.
Limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing, and using sunscreens
may reduce the risks of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful
effects of the sun.
